    U3A North Gold Coast AGM

Today I had the pleasure of attending the Annual General Meeting and shared lunch of the University of the Third Age (U3A) North Gold Coast.

I want to take the opportunity to thank the incoming committee, President Sue (pictured below), Vice President Heather, Secretary Margaret, Treasurer Erika, and Committee Members Joan, Annette, Brian, Barbara, Lorraine and Angela. I know you will work hard over the coming year to make U3A even better for your members and I look forward to working with you all to achieve this.

Originally founded in France, U3A’s across the world deliver academic programs aimed at improving the lives of our older citizens. U3A North Gold Coast, which is based in Labrador at the Labrador Community and Youth Centre,  was founded in 1991 and has been improving lives in our community ever since.
